There are very few views in the world that capture the essence of a city better than the one from Sails Restaurant. From our location in the heart of Westhaven Marina, you will look beyond a sea of masts across to the Auckland Harbour Bridge, North Head and Rangitoto Island.

Carefully designed, Sails Restaurant is one large open-plan room with high studs and plush décor. Guest parking at the door is unlimited and free, and there is a covered portico entrance to the restaurant. Westhaven Marina is a unique setting, providing a beautiful backdrop for your special wedding photos.

No detail should be ordinary, especially the food. On arrival you and your guests will be offered a selection of canapés followed by a three-course à la carte dinner. You will be impressed by our award-winning cuisine prepared by our team of talented chefs. Accommodating special dietary requirements and a separate vegetarian menu are all inclusive of the Sails Restaurant service.

As part of the service, the Sails restaurant team will help you through every detail, from designing timing schedules and table layouts to advice on florists and cake design. Our first-class fine dining waiters and dedicated beverage service team will ensure your guests’ sole focus is just how much enjoyment they’re having.

On a Saturday, the full service à la carte style menu, including the setting of the restaurant and the serving of canapés, is $85 per person for a minimum of 100 guests, excluding beverages. A hosting fee of $1500 covers the extra staffing requirements and exclusive use of the restaurant for the day. This price is inclusive of GST, but does not include the wedding cake, any additional decorations, entertainment or place cards.
On a Sunday, although your wedding is still the only service that Sails Restaurant will conduct, because of lower demand we are able to offer either a reduction in minimum numbers or hosting fee. Sails restaurant does not host weddings in the month of December unless special arrangements are made. |
